How does Brainin work?
You will get access to the system from your therapist (it can also be a family member). Subsequently, he will gradually create exercise packages adapted to your health situation and specific needs. You can then go through the individual exercises and rehabilitate. The advantage of such a program is that you can rehabilitate wherever and whenever you want: with your therapist, in a medical or social facility or in the comfort of your own home.

Catalog of tasks
BrainIn provides a variety of tasks for patients to rehabilitate. Each type of task is aimed at practicing different areas of human health. Whether it is correct recognition of colors in the game "Test tubes", drawing a picture to practice motor skills or adding words to sentences. Each patient receives these games as part of the package from their therapist. Packages are tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
After logging into the system, the patient can start game packs by hovering the mouse over the green tile labeled "Play". Here he selects the one he wants to run from the list of packages assigned to him and clicks on the tile. After starting, the patient sees a window with instructions in front of him. There is even an option to play a recording with instructions using the blue button in the lower left corner of the window. Click the green "Start" button to start the game.
After running the task, the game is displayed over the entire browser window. The "Esc" key can be used to shrink the game back to the browser window. In most games, there is a caption at the top that tells the patient what to do. The user interface buttons are located in the upper right corner. The first button with a cross serves for the preliminary termination of the currently played task. The second button can be used to turn off the volume, or the sounds that may be present in the games. The third button with the image of the controller is used to display instructions. These are the same instructions that appear before loading the game.
- Some games have a fourth button with a question mark, which is for displaying help.
- Other games may also have a timer in the upper left corner, indicating that the patient has only a limited amount of time to complete the task.
In the lower right corner there is a big green "Continue" button that will advance the game to the next part. This button can also contain the text "Skip", in which case it can be used to skip the current round. After completing the game, the patient is shown how successful he was in solving the tasks and if he is improving in solving them. By clicking the finish button, the paicent is redirected to the next task.
If there is no other task in the bundle, the user is returned to the tile page. After that, a small questionnaire appears in which the patient can fill in how difficult the task seemed to him, if he was satisfied with the number of tasks, etc. These questionnaires serve as feedback for the therapist, who can improve the creation of new packages in the future based on these reactions.
